Perfetto Pizza

“Food used to cost that much, take that long, and still taste that bad?” 10 dollars, 10 minutes, perfect. The future of food starts here - Perfetto.

Perfetto

Perfect Pizza. 10 Minutes. 10 Dollars.

“Food used to cost that much, take that long, and still taste that bad?” 10 dollars, 10 minutes, perfect. The future of food starts here - Perfetto.

It all started in the dorm room. A late day of work left me and my friends particularly hungry, yet everywhere we looked, there was nothing that satiated our appetite, need for speed, and tight college budget.

And just like that, Perfetto became our passion project… From market research to designing a revolutionary, purpose-built robot at a fraction of industry costs, we can’t wait to make the Perfetto pizza into reality.

Perfetto is the logical answer to an already evolving food industry. As taxi services made way for the sharing economy and Blockbusters were erased with the advance of on-demand streaming, Perfetto will become a commonplace word.

How are we so certain? Because it’s already happening. From Domino’s progressively more experimental endeavors to get your food to you in new ways, to a wave of food automation hitting the storefronts of San Francisco, we see the GrubHubs and UberEats of the world as the landline preceded the mobile phone.

So yes, our dream for Perfetto sees that one day, trucks with self-operating robots in them will cook perfect pizza on route to you, always within 10 minutes. Featuring seasonal flavors created and curated by a rotating roster of top chefs, we even see highlighted regional favorites and new ways to market and create thanks to the flexibility of the Perfetto formula.

Status of Perfetto

With the school year well on the way, we’ve put Perfetto on the back-burner to strengthen our domain insights (i.e. do our homework so Stanford doesn’t kick us out :P).

In the meantime, I will be traveling to Italy in the Winter to learn directly from the masters. Stay tuned, you never know what might happen next…
